Quick answers
Open the iOS Settings app, scroll to Blink, tap Notifications, and make sure Allow Notifications, Sounds, and Banners are on. Also check that Focus modes aren't filtering Blink out, and that Do Not Disturb isn't active.
Blink uses local notifications scheduled in advance, so reminders fire even when the screen is off. If you don't see a banner, the most common cause is notification permissions — see the previous answer. The on-screen countdown only animates while the app is open; it'll snap back to the correct time when you reopen it.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Blink. From there you can change plans, cancel, or request a refund. Cancelling stops future renewals — you keep Premium access until the current period ends.
Apple handles all refunds directly. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Blink purchase, and follow the prompts. Refund decisions are Apple's call, but they're usually quick.
Yes — Blink is fully offline. The app makes no network requests; everything runs on-device. See the privacy policy for details.
Sign into the new device with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase, then open Blink and tap Restore Purchases on the paywall screen. Apple will validate the receipt and unlock Premium.
Send it to support@sakshamvirmani.com. Blink is built solo, so every email gets read.

A few tips
Park your iPhone next to your laptop
Blink is designed as an ambient companion. The countdown glows next to your screen — you don't need to look at it directly.
Use the side button to start
You don't need to keep the app open. Start a session, lock your phone, and the notification will fire on its own.
Look 20 feet away for 20 seconds
When the break notification lands, look at something at least 6 metres away. That's the whole 20-20-20 rule.
Tune the durations to your work
The defaults follow pomodoro + 20-20-20, but you can adjust focus and break lengths in Settings.
