privacy policy

Nothing leaves your device.

Last updated May 17, 2026 Effective immediately

Blink collects no personal data. All timer state, session history, and settings are stored on your device only. The app makes no network requests.

What we don't collect

  • No accounts, no sign-in, no email required to use the app.
  • No analytics SDKs, no crash-reporting SDKs, no third-party trackers.
  • No advertising identifiers, no fingerprinting, no usage telemetry.
  • No location data, no contacts, no photos, no health data.

What stays on your device

Your preferences (timer durations, sound choices, notification settings) and any session history are stored locally using Apple's standard on-device storage. This data never leaves your iPhone unless you choose to back up your device through iCloud, in which case it is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Subscriptions and purchases

If you subscribe to Blink Premium, the purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Blink receives a receipt from Apple to validate your subscription status on-device — we don't see your name, email, payment details, or Apple ID. Refunds and billing questions are handled directly by Apple.

Notifications

Blink uses local notifications scheduled on your device. No push notification server is involved, and no notification content ever leaves your phone.

Children

Blink is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Because Blink collects nothing, material changes are unlikely.
