Privacy, plainly.

Your stored timer state, settings, session history, statistics, and eye-break logs stay on the Apple device where you created them. Blink does not upload this history or sync it between devices.

Data stored on your device

Blink uses Apple's on-device storage for timer configuration, theme and sound choices, completed or abandoned sessions, eye-break logs, statistics, and the current timer state. This data supports the timer and local history views.

Blink does not require a name, email address, phone number, profile, or sign-in.

Keychain data

Blink stores two small values in Apple Keychain:

• The number of free focus-session starts used.
• A randomly generated app user ID used to associate purchase entitlements with RevenueCat.

The RevenueCat identifier is device-local and is not synchronized through iCloud Keychain. Keychain items can survive deleting and reinstalling the app. The random purchase identifier is not based on your name, email address, or Apple Account credentials.

Purchases and RevenueCat

Blink uses RevenueCat to load products, validate purchases, restore purchases, and check whether Premium is active.

Blink provides RevenueCat with the randomly generated app user ID described above. RevenueCat also processes purchase and technical information needed to provide its service. This can include product and receipt information, device type, operating system, app version, last-seen time, and network information such as an IP address. Read the RevenueCat privacy policy for its current practices.

Apple processes payment, billing, refunds, and your Apple Account. The developer does not receive your card details, Apple Account password, or full payment credentials.

Notifications and system features

Blink can register a local notification for the active timer phase and its optional 30-second Pomodoro heads-up. It does not project a chain of later phases or send alerts through a developer-operated server. Live Activities, widgets, and the Today's Focus shortcut use Apple system frameworks and shared storage on your device to show current timer state or on-device history.

Network access

Blink uses network access for RevenueCat purchase services and Apple App Store purchase services. It does not upload timer state, session history, statistics, eye-break logs, or Live Activity state to a developer-operated server.

Blink does not use IDFA, advertising tracking, advertising SDKs, or session analytics.

Your choices

You can use Blink without creating an account or granting notification permission. If notifications are disabled, the timer still works while the app is open, but timer alerts will not appear.

You can erase local session history and settings from Blink. Deleting the app removes its ordinary local storage, but Apple Keychain values can remain after reinstall.

Changes to this policy

If Blink's data practices change, this page will be updated before the new practice is described as active. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
